Yes. A one-off onboarding fee of $220 + GST applies to all new care clients. Before ongoing care begins, we complete a baseline health check, connect monitoring and reporting, verify backups, and review your update and security status. This ensures we’re never maintaining unknown issues; and that your site is set up for smooth, consistent care from day one.
Onboarding covers an initial site health check across core, themes, plugins, security and performance. We connect WP Umbrella monitoring, verify your backup setup, validate your update process, and do a front-end check of key pages and forms. If anything urgent surfaces, we’ll flag it with a clear recommendation and separate quote before proceeding.
Onboarding is not optional; it protects your website and ensures there are no surprises once care begins. Previous LCD care clients may qualify for fast-track onboarding depending on their site status.
LCD care plans are deliberately limited to ensure every client receives genuine attention – not an automated service. If you’re enquiring about a plan, reach out directly and we’ll confirm current availability.
If your site needs repairs or a clean-up before care can begin, we’ll assess it, outline exactly what’s required, and provide a clear quote. Once it’s stable, we’ll move you onto the right plan. We won’t maintain a site we can’t stand behind.
Care plans cover ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and support – not new development. New pages, major redesigns, functionality builds, copywriting, and paid plugin licences are scoped and quoted separately. Growth and Performance clients receive a monthly hours allocation for smaller updates – see plan details for inclusions.
Care plan clients are prioritised immediately. Response times depend on your plan tier – Performance clients receive same-day response, Growth within one business day, Essentials within standard timeframes. If you’re not on a plan, emergency support is available at our standard hourly rate.
Yes. You can upgrade at any time – downgrades or cancellations require 30 days written notice. We’d rather you be on the right plan than the wrong one.
